What would you do? - A poem by Robyn
1998 January
Created by Roy 12 years ago
Robyn wrote this poem in January 1998, before she was diagnosed with HES. It is somewhat prophetic as you will see.
What would you do if I were to leave, my mortal coil faded away?
Would you mourn and weep for me day after day?
Howl at the moon for the loss of a mate?
Would you sit by my bed, hold my hand and talk of days gone by?
Sing to me softly and cry out my name as the light fades from my eyes?
Fear not my love, soulmate of mine,
My life on this earth is complete,
For I will hasten to the Goddess'es shrine
If tomorrow my fate I should meet.
